Aside from the rare book fan, most of us met Geralt of Rivia in the Netflix TV series The Witcher or in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt video game. The two camps may fight about which Witcher is better, but we can all agree that Geralt’s twin swords are the coolest things in the show.
But what’s even cooler is that you can have a sword replica of Geralt’s steel sword and silver sword as well as Ciri’s sword.
A Silver Sword for Monsters, A Steel Sword for Humans
It’s not uncommon for protagonists in fantasy media to use a medieval-inspired sword, but in Geralt’s case, he has two instead of one “magical” sword. This is because the swords have different uses. While the steel sword is meant to be used on humans, Geralt’s silver sword is meant for fighting monsters.
The two swords may look identical, but you’ll notice that there are runes inscribed along the silver sword’s blade length which are enchanted to work against monsters. CD Projekt Red uses this as a gameplay mechanic in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt by making it hard for you to deal damage to human enemies when using the silver sword.
Andrzej Sapkowski’s The Witcher book series lets Geralt use the silver sword on humans but he doesn’t often do so since silver doesn’t have special abilities on humans and only gets damaged, seeing as silver is a softer metal than steel.
5 Best Witcher Sword Replicas
The Witcher TV show and games each have their own version of the White Wolf’s pair of swords. Yet regardless of which adaptation you prefer, these high-quality replicas will all look fantastic as decor or as a cosplay prop.
The Witcher 3: School of the Viper Silver Rune Sword
It’s no Aerondight but if your favorite monster slayer school from TW3 is the School of the Viper, this replica of the Viper rune sword will resonate with you. It has a stainless steel blade engraved with runes that connects to a V-shaped crossguard.
The sword comes with a leather scabbard with silver-toned details at the tip and opening that add to the mystical feel of this replica sword. As an added bonus, the pommel features two serpent heads that reference the School of the Viper.

The Witcher 3: Geralt of Rivia’s Steel Sword
Geralt’s steel sword may be a more humble blade, but it plays an important role in the game. It’s the sword that Geralt uses when he fights Olgierd in the Hearts of Stone expansion because he assumed that Olgierd was human only for him to survive getting his head cut off.
If you can remember to check whether your opponent is human or not, you should have a look at this steel sword replica. The stainless steel blade features a scored blade, a wrought crossguard, and a wolf’s head sigil at the pommel. It’s elegant, simple, and deadly – just like its owner.
The sword also comes with a leather scabbard complete with steel-toned hardware so you can fight witch hunters in style.

Zireael: Ciri’s Sword
The TV show’s Ciri is still swinging around her training sword, but her older video game counterpart has long since moved on to Zireael, an ancient silver blade forged by gnomes. The sword’s name is also a nod to Ciri’s name and heritage since “Ciri”, which is short for “Cirilla”, is derived from “Zireael”, the Elder Speech word for “swallow”.
Because of this, Ciri’s sword is designed to match her overall character design. The color palette is primarily white and brown which are the same colors used in Ciri’s outfit. The blade is scored in a similar fashion to Geralt’s steel sword and has a crossguard similar to Geralt’s silver sword.
Unfortunately, the replica sword doesn’t have the runic inscription that Ciri’s sword has in the game.

The Witcher: Geralt’s Aerondight Silver Sword
Henry Cavill’s Geralt uses a variation of the Aerondight silver sword in the Netflix series. Aerondight, for show-only fans, is the sword that Geralt receives from the Lady of the Lake in the games and books.
Like the original Aerondight, this sword replica has a rune inscription that makes it effective against monsters. Other than the handle being wrapped with a slippery faux-leather material, it’s a perfect replica of a beautiful fantasy sword.

The Witcher: Geralt’s White Steel Sword
Cavill switches swords in the show multiple times, but the most memorable steel sword is this white blade that makes him look like a true fantasy hero.
The steel sword is a straight-edge blade with an engraved crossguard that attaches to a white handle. The handle is topped off by a sculptural pommel that helps balance the sword’s weight while giving it some extra flair. Similar to the handle, the scabbard is also rendered and white and uses steel engraved details that help tie the sword’s design together.

Conclusion
No matter how the books get adapted, Geralt never loses his signature steel and silver swords that help him get his job done while symbolizing who he is as a person. That said, a witcher’s sword is only as good as his training so none of these sword replicas are going to prepare you for fighting a striga.
