Picked out by Roronoa Zoro from a barrel of cheap katanas, the Sandai Kitetsu is said to be a Cursed Sword which brings misfortune to their wielders. In the series, the katana is prized for its sharpness and even withstood attacks from a far superior sword—Shusui.
This replica of the Sandai Kitetsu sword from Hanbon Forge has a blade just as impressive as Zoro’s. Forged from T10 steel, the blade is strong with remarkable edge retention, making it perfect for any practitioner or collector. The stunning flame-like temper line adds to the aesthetics of the overall sword.
Like the anime, this katana comes equipped with a simple black tsuba with gold borders. Two bamboo pegs secure the blade’s full tang to the wooden core handle covered with black rayskin and wrapped tightly with red silk cord wrap for a comfortable and durable grip.
The katana comes sheathed in a glossy lacquered burgundy scabbard.
