Derby handle cane swords have been among the most comfortable walking companions since the 18th century and likely even earlier. This particular cane sword draws inspiration from Qing Dynasty designs.
It features a carbon steel blade that has been folded multiple times to reveal visible layered patterns dancing across the surface. The blade can be ordered sharpened or unsharpened, depending on your preference.
Both the handle and scabbard are made from polished hardwood, offering a smooth texture and a glossy finish. Brass fittings provide a secure locking mechanism, allowing the blade to be safely enclosed for walking or quickly accessed for cutting practice.
At the base, a shock-absorbing rubber pad offers added stability and comfort while walking.
Choosing a different overall length variation changes the cane’s size, not the blade’s length (except when it's shorter than the standard)
