SKU: HB857
This lightly curved Dao saber, inspired by the main blade type used by Qing Dynasty (1636-1911) soldiers, is made out of pattern steel folded repeatedly to produce numerous visually intriguing layers. The blade also has added clay temper, which produces an authentic hamon line and hardens the edge for cutting practice.
Its fittings, constructed out of copper, are enriched with a traditional Chinese dragon motif symbolizing power, courage, luck, and wisdom. The handle is crafted from wood and fully wrapped in high-quality rayskin. The blade is polished with hazuya stones, creating a mirror-like shine, ideal for decor, or an extremely sharp edge perfect for cutting tests. Optional engraving is available, and the sword comes with a complimentary sword bag.
